Dan & Gail on the walk to O'Connor's |
The following photos are from June 2-4, 2000. P, H
and Gail visited from Virginia. We all entertained ourselves in various
ways - museums, plays and baseball games.

Saturday morning starts with a trip to the local bagel
shop and then a long subway ride to the upper east side.

| The Guggenheim just functions as a background photo opportunity. We visited Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum and the exhibition of "design culture now". The show had it's highs and lows. P was overwhelmed and distracted by the use of translucent plastic. I was confused by the video game. | ![]() |

Gail buys lemonade from a couple of young SoHo punks. |
H also forks over a few quarters to these obviously underage street vendors. |

And it turns out that P is going to have to make a return trip to New York. I somehow structured the weekend around her being unable to find sunglasses. A sunglasses finding visit is now being scheduled. |

Sunday afternoon offers the chance to go exploring. Look! They're building apartments down the block! |
After lunch in Park Slope |
| Gail took the photo on the right and did a great job. P and I are hiding in the shadows of a giant building in Brooklyn. Look! White shirts and khakis! | ![]() |
