borrowed camera
borrow my camera for a week or two and send ten photos to post on balgavy.com!

During February 2002 my digital camera broke. As a temporary replacement I got an inexpensive Kodak camera. A few months later I upgraded to my current Canon PowerShot S30. I've still got the Kodak DC3200, though. Mostly, it just sits around. I figure it's time to get some use from it. So…I've decided to lend it to friends who are interested.

Borrow the camera from me for a week or two and take all the pictures you want. Select ten and I'll post them. The unifying element being that all the photos are taken with the same camera.

The camera is really easy to use. I'll lend it with a 64MB compact flash card and a USB card reader.

I'd feel remiss if I didn't mention that one of the big influences for this is all the projects Rannie does for his photojunkie.org website. Lately I've spent a lot of time surfing the various photoblogs at photoblogs.org and fotolog.net and it's gotten me excited to feature more photographs on this website.

Send me an email (marc726@hotmail.com) if you'd like to participate!

some fine print:

As things are just getting underway, I'm still trying to figure out what will work best. For now I've decided to post images at 576x432 pixels or 8 inches by 6 inches at 72dpi. I'll then add a white border and post them on a black background.
