PACHYPODIUMS
Lately, I've let my plant collecting habit get a little out of control. Five or six weeks ago I spent the better part of an afternoon searching the city for just the right ponytail palm.
Around that same time I placed an order with Highland Succulents for a group of pachypodiums.
The plants, relatively small, are said to produce magnificent flowers. I hope I'm just a few months from that point.
A challenging aspect of these plants will be making sure they get the proper amount of light and stay in their compact form. I'm afraid of them stretching too much toward the light, thus becoming etiolated (my new word of the day).

pachypodium rosulatum
