28. Scary Movie 2. Yeah, I admit, I enjoyed the first one, it was relatively funny. But, this was just pure shit. Not even David Cross could save this movie. 27. Vanilla Sky. What the hell was this? Love the soundtrack though. 26. Pearl Harbor. I can't believe they made a Hollywood blockbuster movie about this tragedy. It could have been really good. But, then Ben Affleck (who I am completely over) and Josh Hartnett were cast and it became this year's Titantic. I hope that in 60 years, they don't make a Hollywood blockbuster movie based on September 11. 25. Moulin Rouge. The highlight of the movie was when Angela got a Charliehorse and was moaning in pain in her chair. This was the highlight because it distracted me from the movie for a couple of minutes. I don't understand why this movie got such good reviews. 24. Hannibal. Awful awful movie 23. The Fast and the Furious. Taken to this movie against my will hoping it would be better than I thought it would be. But, my expectations were right: the movie made me want to get out off the movie theater fast and furiously. Ha ha ha I'm so funny. 22. Zoolander. Wasn't ALL bad. But, still can't say it was a good movie. 21. Not Another Teen Movie. Another movie that had a lot of potential. Liked the Breakfast Club farce. 20. Riding In Cars With Boys. Had just gotten out of the hospital when I saw this one, so that probably had a lot to do with me not liking it too much. But, I'm still willing to bet that if I saw it now I would still think it sucked. Drew Barrymore is the worst actress. 19. Bridget Jones's Diary. I liked the book. Didn't think Renee Zellweger was a very good British woman. I didn't like Gweneth in Shakespeare In Love with the fake British accent. Didn't work there, doesn't work now. 18. Ali. It had the potential to be really great. It even started out really good. Will Smith was amazing. But, by what seemed like the 13th hour, I wanted out of the theater. 17. Save the Last Dance. Liked the interracial teen romance. Not a typical movie plotline. But, it really bothered me that Julia Stile's character got into Julliard when her dancing was lackluster. 16. Crazy/Beautiful. Sorry Melissa. You would have this as #1. Jay Hernandez is beautiful. 15.. How High. Pretty damn funny. Method Man and Redman are great. 14. America's Sweethearts. Jon Cusack is so dreamy. 13. Rush Hour 2. A lot better than I thought it was going to be. Pretty damn funny. 12. Serendipity. Again, Jon Cusack. Luscious! 11. The Closet. Very cute French movie. Saw it with Erica in the Bijou Cinemas in Worcester. Awesome independent movie theater with cheap ticket prices and you get free popcorn! Woo hooo! 10. American Pie 2. Not as good as the first one. Still pretty funny. How cute was the ending? 9. O Brother Where Art Thou. Not the best Coens Brothers movie but I still liked it. George Clooney did a great job. I still haven't seen The Man Who Wasn't There. Its playing at Bijou. Gotta go see it. 8. Legally Blond. Or Clueless 2. 7. Shrek. Wasn't as great as everyone says it is, but still pretty good. Eddie Murphy, what an ass! Ha ha ha. 6. The Others. Nicole Kidman won the Golden Globe for this. Take that Tom! 5. Memento. Still scratching my head trying to make sense of it, but that's a good thing. Guy Pierce is HOT!!!! 4. Ghost World. I wish I could pull off Thora Birch's wardrobe in this movie. I'd love to see the comic series that this is based on. 3. The Royal Tenenbaums. Wes Anderson and Owen Wilson are amazing. Great follow up to Rushmore. Great ensemble cast. I love the part at the end at the funeral and Ben Stiller and his son's have changed their red Adidas outfits to black. 2. Ocean's 11. First of all, Brad Pitt is perfect. You could not ask for a more beautiful man. Damn Jennifer Aniston! There wasn't a dull part in the movie and the twist ending was great. 1. Monsters Inc. I know, I know. Not the most respectable choice for number 1. But, I LOVED this movie. I have turned into a little kid with this movie. I want everything Monsters Inc. After the movie, Melissa and I went to 3 McDonald's trying to find Monster's Inc. toys, but to our disappointment, they were all sold out. Melissa sent me a Sully Christmas ornament for my first Christmas tree in my dorm room (which soon turned into the Sexmas tree because Kate and I adorned it with condoms). I am soooo obsessed with this movie. Can't wait til it comes out on videotape. |
