am i the only one who likes the metro channel?
the new york times does a little more explaining about the situations with mets games / fox sports new york / msg network / metro channel.
tom @ the media drop metions the situation and reminds everyone that both companies are being difficult and that time warner is urging cablevision to allow the channels to remain on the air while negotiations continue.
Posted by marc@balgavy.com at August 3, 2004 01:19 PM | TrackBackthe more i learn about Cablevision, the less i like them. i only sided with them in the YES dispute because i am bound by law to oppose the Yankees at every turn. they're likely losing the Mets after 2005, there may not be hockey next season (taking away 3 of the teams that they show on MSG/FSNY) and the Knicks and Nets are going to suck. and don't forget the huge drawing power of the MetroStars and the Liberty. and for this they want to charge more than they already are? forget that.
