ok, i remember eating a tasty bbq pork sandwich topped with yummy vinegary sauce and an eskimo pie or chocolate covered ice cream on a stick thingy at the durham bulls game we went to last year. but i guess i never wrote about it on the PSG and googling turns up nothing about eskimo pies and durham. however, if you see these - they come in a foil sleeve and are a product of a mom and pop-y operation, GET ONE! unless i am remembering incorrectly and this was not in durham.

I've been researching the food options all night long. I can't wait to get on the road!

The food selections at RFK are bleak, with the exception of the sausage, which is pretty solid. As for pregame or postgame eats/drinks, I've been wanting to try a newish place called Trusty's, which is at 1420 Pennsylvania Ave. SE. It's within walking distance of RFK, and their Web site (www.pourhouse-dc.com/trustys.php), says they have a free shuttle bus to the game on Friday and Saturday nights.

I went with the sausage at RFK (I went with the sausage at pretty much every stadium, actually). I liked it but the bun left something to be desired. It split before I was back at my seats. I took the option of the spicy sausage and I think I made the right choice.

Yeah, the buns they use for the sausage are bizarrely ill fitting and never stay together.
