summer hot spot
eight or nine days ago some friends and i spent an evening at water taxi beach in queens. jim, mike and i took the water taxi to this summer's imported sand zone from lower manhattan. at the first stop in brooklyn, just a few feet from the brooklyn ice cream factory, alex and anne boarded the boat. at water taxi beach we drank cheap beer and called everyone we knew, imploring them to come meet us.
