Yes, it was funny. I saw it in person...I was at the game! Went with people from work. We were sitting in the "loge" section behind home plate. Other people in our party were in the third row below us. Yes, "the" third row.
I felt bad for Matsui, the way so many boneheads in the stands were booing him every chance they got. He even had a decent night. I'm pretty sure I heard a guy say, "Kill yourself!" That's just not necessary.
sujan was commenting about how funny it is that they refer to koo as mr. koo. she said that her dad refers to all korean players in this manner. mr. seo. mr. choi, etc. very funny.
