pick a town, any town
Forbes has a list of 60 Cheap Places to Live. I've yet to read this, but I'm sure it'll start off interesting and then get kind of boring. But I'm up for change. And I'm curious to know what's out there. (link via cheap stingy bastard)
UPDATE (30 seconds later): I just realized this piece is slightly interactive! Very Cool. And I am saying this without sarcasm, I swear. I am looking forward to finding out more about various types of communities (Porch-Swing, Happy Hootervilles, IQ Campuses, Steroid Cities, Bohemian Bargains, or Telecommuting Heavens).

this popped up on msn the other day and i was intrigued so i clicked. i just wanted a list of towns but there was none to be found. then i saw the names of the various categories and "happy hootervilles" was bad enough but then upon seeing "steroid cities" and "telecommuting heavens" my stomach churned and i had to abort the mission.

there were a lot of different pop up windows. and then very little info about each town (but a nice photo was included). it was about 40% less informative than i thought it would be and about 90% less entertaining than i wanted it to be.
