i am a robot

kfan posted a comment this morning asking about the location of the "alias" thread. here is the discussion space for "alias." did anyone else watch this besides kevin? (and me, obviously).

a few quick talking points (please excuse my poor spelling):

- the showdown between vaughn and his wife was good.
- the romance between vaughn's wife (i should really learn her name) and sark is getting steamy!
- i don't believe that arvin sloane is sydney's father.
- i didn't like the storytelling format that had the episode start repeating (with just a slightly different perspective) at the midway point.

yay! i was totally joking, but i'm always glad to talk tv.

amy & donovan watched with me and ro last night, and we were all in agreement that last night's ep was pretty lame.

the faux rashomon-style storytelling was just SLOPPY. they really just repeated scenes, rather than give different perspectives on the same story.

the stuff with sloan and the psychologist (and her boobs) was just silly. i don't know where this plot line is going, but it's taking forever to get there, and probably won't be worth it once it does.

i think weiss is on to lauren's evilness, but i'm worried that she's going to kill him.

overall the last few episodes have been lame, but alias midseasons have always been sluggish, and they have always paid off in big ways in season closers & openers.

yeah, when i went to lunch i realized you were probably joking. but i rarely talk with anyone about alias, so i jumped at the chance! interesting theory abotu weiss being at the receiving end of a lauren murder. could very well happen, as i think greg grunberg may be getting his own show sometime in the fall.

Yeah, there has to be some way to get him off the show, and you figure Lauren's gotta go out with a blast, so I figure Weiss is the patsy.

How about that product placement last night. So lame. There have actually been episodes were it was even more shamless, if you can believe it. So lame.

Also, what was up with Lauren wearing a wig? Why did she have to be in disguise on that mission if Sark wasn't? That was so silly.

i liked lauren's wig! of course, that's a serious sign that the show is reaching a creative dead-end. or, maybe it's reaching the point where the creators are having too much fun playing with their own mythology. turning lauren into the evil sydney - down to a crazy wig and everything.

the product placement was out of control. so out of control that i went and purchased a ford f-150 this morning! who knew that a truck could handle so well in a parking garage?

oh, man, you guys are making me laugh.
