can i take it back?
my break from the internet is over. it lasted about 12 hours. i was asleep for most of those hours. making decisions after a long night of going out is a silly thing to do.

make it stop!
when did halloween turn into a week long celebration? it already feels like ages ago that i was in illinois lifting my hammer in celebration while watching a friend dressed as a boy scout lift some guy into the air in order to do a keg stand! and somehow i failed to go out last night in respect to the actual halloween event. my roommate was kind enough to pass out candy, though. he takes care of things like that. i'm the bitter old man who only believes in collecting candy, not giving it away. and i should also offer a nod to jamie who really sort of stoked my anti-halloween fires last night (and who suggested the costume i'll be wearing tonight). yeah, i'm wearing a costume tonight, the day _after_ halloween. a party. it's always a party that sucks you into the situation of buying a giant multi-colored clown wig.
