franchises available, right?
in a few days i'm joining dan and jamie for their annual baseball trip. we're jumping in a car and ultimately heading to the twin cities. i just plugged the final destination into the chick-fil-a supercomputer and learned that there are only FOUR LOCATIONS between here and there. this is seriously troubling news.

friday - st. paul saints
saturday - detroit tigers
sunday - erie sea wolves (1pm), altoona curve (6pm)
monday - little league world series, then home
It's actually Mishawaka, Indiana (with an a not an i). That's right next to South Bend, in the heart of Michiana (that would be the border area between Michigan and Indiana). I spent 4 years of my life in that devil-forsaken wasteland. If you stop at a Chick-Fil-A there, you could also check out the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend. Or the Notre Dame campus, which I have to say is damn beautiful despite the general ugliness of the surrounding pseudo-metropolitan area.
