heels only
yesterday i really wanted someone to as me how i was. i was so ready to answer "i'm gellin'."
and i really was. i had the heel inserts from dr. scholl's. not only did they massage my feet, they lifted my feet out of my shoes just enough so that the skin around my ankles wouldn't rub away during the copious amount of walking i do to and from work. i think i may put insoles into all of my shoes.
Posted by marc@balgavy.com at July 22, 2004 02:40 PMI am pro-gel also. I got the ones with built-in anti-odor technology, but I think that has already worn out. Still comfortable though. As my feet constantly hurt, sometimes (like today) to the point that I have to stop and wince in the middle of a sidewalk, any type of cushioning is a welcome addition.

(You're right Dan, I am the king of double comment postings.)
Posted by: jim at July 22, 2004 11:08 PMInsoles make the difference. Especially in Chuck Taylors. They make them wearable. I presently have some other kind of Dr. Scholls Insole in my new pair of converse and they are making the heel all nice and cushion-y and my arched well-supported! If only the gell inserts had arch-support, they'd be my new best friends.
