future digital camera purchases
for those thinking about buying a digital camera in the near future, walter mossberg has a good summary of what to look for when making that first purchase.
and i promise this week i'll look at my cheap digital camera to see if i can get it working. it's not in good shape, so the future of the borrowed camera project looks pretty dicey.

sorry to hear about the lending camera. but the project must continue in some form or other, no?
