watching expired appliances align

an hour ago i watched the first complete episode of fear factor i've ever seen. that whole eating maggots things is gross. and the climbing around the bottom of a spinning helicoptor thing looks tough. and the flipping the car like a stunt person is awesome. so, yeah, not a show i'll watch again, but an episode i'm glad i made an exception for. a college friend of mine was on the show and carried herself quite well, even announcing that music from 'lord of the rings' was played during her wedding.

i haven't seen gina since the fall of '96 or the summer of '97, so it was pretty wild to see that same person on an nbc show competing against five people who weren't as interesting as she was. still. what a bizarre show. i have it saved on the dvr and can make a tape of it in case anyone wants to watch it. recording things to the dvr and then spitting out tapes of said things is my new guilty pleasure.
