the only songs worth hearing
if there's anything worse than being subjected to crossing streams of FM-Radio dreck from the desks around you, i'm not sure i want to know about it. if i hear Kelly Clarkson interminable "Since U Been Gone" one more time, i'm going to have to consider going the Van Gogh route (will that prevent me from hearing ever again? if not perhaps just a good dousing with acid will do the trick). freaking Z100 must be playing that song at least once an hour. conveniently, their online playlist only goes back about 45 minutes so you can't use it to call them out for replaying the same goddamn 5 songs over and over again, but i can almost guarantee that you'll see Ms. Clarkson on there no matter when you happen to look at it. also trying my patience: Green Day, the Killers (now playing) and Maroon 5.
so why do i feel like it would be rude of me to start playing my own music? i can't possibly get out of this office fast enough today.

Just find some music by The Frogs, and crank it to 11. A little "Adam and Steve" would do the trick. They may even ask you to leave early.

Do you sit next to Milton from Office Space? Playing music at your desk in an open office area is pretty damn rude.

no shit they are playing "Rico Suave" by Gerardo right now. i'm sure it's supposed to be some sort of ironic joke, but in actuality it's a refreshing change of pace.

I kinda like the Kelly Clarkson song........but I never listen to FM radio so its more af a novelty...I am currently listening to sirius online. Since I am a member I get a online password.....let me know if you want it! Also get headphones!!!

headphones don't work for me because i have people calling and/or coming to my desk in a fairly constant stream. soon enough i'll be free of this torture chamber.
the song itself wouldn't be so terrible if it wasn't repeated ad hemorrhagem. by the way, it played again at 3:00pm.

speaking of rico suave, some channel was showing "colors" a couple of nights ago. I didn't realize don cheadle was in that--damn that beeyotch is old. it's a better movie than I remembered, although sean penn and robert duvall deserve a better director than dennis hopper.
I looked up rico suave on imdb.com...here's some trivia:
His real name is Gerardo Mejia. He's from Guayaquil. His dad played the dad in the "Rico Suave" video.....ummm....who knew that there was a dad in the "Rico Suave" video. He signed Enrique Iglesias to EMI records....thanks for that Gerardo. I guess great minds think alike.
I eat 'em raw like sushi,

Gerardo also was in "Can't Buy Me Love," perhaps Patrick Dempsey's finest moment.
