Who delivers more on Xmas - Santa or Spammers?
While cleaning up the comment spam on the site today, I took a couple minutes and went through all the e-mail spam received by my various accounts on Christmas Day. obviously there was no shortage of computers willing to work on a holiday. the breakdown by subject:

glad to see "general porn" made the list.
a little disappointed about the lack of specific fetishes (other than bored housewives, which we can chalk up to abc).

I don't think there's any coincidence that pharmaceutical spam went from a trickle to a landslide right around the time Rush Limbaugh was accused of hoarding copious amounts of pain-killers. What Courtney Love couldn't do to bring such substances into the mainstream, Limbaugh accomplished.
There's also the confusing chronology of MILF sites/spam, Fountains Of Wayne's "Stacy's Mom" and a further deluge of MILF sites/spam. Life/commercial activity imitating (bad) art imitating life/commercial activity.
