a bartered lantern borrowed
a well-deserved long weekend has turned into a week full of transience, work-wise, thus the lack of recent posting. i ended up skipping the entirety of the OpenHouse New York stuff for work- and football-related reasons, but i'm glad some folks got out to some of the sites. when i went last year i took a bunch of pictures, numerous of which were supposed to be a part of my effort for the "Borrowed Camera" project. but Marc has had them for almost a year and never bothered to post them - i guess he likes the feet pictures too much - so he's lost his chance as i'm now putting them up here (also check out a couple of Dan's photos from this past weekend, one of which is very similar to the photo below right):

Jamie, you can't bitch out Marc for not putting up your "Borrowed Camera" pics. Think of all he does for you! Hosting your blog, making pages for your wedding photos he took. Speaking of which, his pages have been up for weeks and you've not once sent out a link or posted in your precious blog. I feel his pain: I had a page up for you three weeks after your wedding. If you;re not going to send out an email, I will, these pages take time and they take up space on our web servers! I mean, maybe we wouldn't be offended if you weren't really online too much. But Jesus, jamie, you run a web blog where you post links to strangers' pages. What about your own people?!
:)

Jamie, I think there's something wrong w/ your blog. Maybe it's blocking me? I post but it doesn't post. So I'll try again:
Jamie, a few days ago I posted these replies above and took the time to chew you out but then it got burried under all the spam you get. Can't you delete all that crap, or does that defeat the purpose of a blog?

i do delete them. yesterday there were so many from over the weekend that it took me about 30 minutes to delete them and then ban the IP addresses that they came from so they couldn't post again. i've got about 250 IP addresses banned at this point, but it's really a drop in the bucket. Marc thought he had something that would help prevent the spambots from posting, but it hasn't worked as effectively as we had hoped.
i'm about to delete the overnight stuff now.

Jamie!!! You;re frusturating me! Read my first comments on this post and either send out a link of mine and Marc's photos of your WEDDING we spent time uploading or I'm taking your wedding page down!!!

Claire, I posted a link here and I previously sent the link to our family members. I assume you're looking for me to send one to the DC folks, so I will do that now.

I didn't care who you sent it to, I was just disappointed not to see it on your blog. As a fan of Apes, I'm surprised I missed it, but I did not see you post mine or Marc's.

Hey Kid!! Looks like you`ve got a lot of time on your hands.Let`s hope all the "strange" things I sent you are working.Oh yeah:this was the date that Babe Ruth had his sex change operation. He lived out his final days as Lucinda Earhart{sister of Amelia)and croaked in Jersey while trying to find Jimmy Hoffa!! I guess we should have frozen him too! He had the best solution for HGH and Steroids;Beer and hot dogs in the dugout. It doesn`t get any better than that.Later!!!!!!( Where`s Bernie Carbo when you need him?)!!!!!
